Storage:

We recommend storing your electric product indoors, in a cool and dry place, however we understand that is not always possible. The important thing is that the product is protected from the elements. Ride-On Cars especially have to be completely protected from the rain to avoid damage to all the electrical parts. If you’re looking for ways to securely store your product outdoors, consider using a tarp or creating a little parking garage underneath a table or workbench! If you are storing an item outdoors in the wintertime, make sure to fully charge the battery, then disconnect it and bring it indoors.

Battery:

To prolong your battery life, we strongly recommend disconnecting it when the vehicle will not be in use for a long period of time, especially during the colder winter months - just like you would with a real car. Please fully charge the battery, and then simply disconnect the wiring. If the car is going to be stored indoors, then there’s no need to remove the battery from the car, just disconnect the wires. However, if you are storing it in a colder space, then we recommend removing the battery from the car and bringing it indoors.

If you are having any issues with your battery or your charger, please DO NOT use a substitute charger or connect a different battery. Please reach out to us first, and we will help you resolve the issue, or let you know if a different charger can be used.

Remote Control:

Similarly to the car’s battery, if the vehicle is not going to be used for a while, then we recommend also removing the battery from the remote control. We’ve all seen the build-up that happens when batteries are left in a remote or device for too long - this could affect the remote’s functionality. To make sure that your remote will be working the next time you want to use it, we recommend taking the batteries out before storing it.

Assembly:

Please read the manual and closely follow all the steps when assembling any of our items, especially the ride-on cars. DO NOT skip any steps - for example, you have to install the washers for the tires.

If the manual is not clear or you are unsure, please look up assembly videos online, starting at our channel: https://www.youtube.com/@kingtoys4371 . If you cannot find one that we've uploaded, there may be another video online. However, if you cannot find any, please schedule a customer support video call and we'll be happy to walk you through the assembly process: https://calendly.com/kingtoyscanada/customer-service-virtual .

While we understand the cars are really tempting to play with, or sit on, please keep in mind that they are designed for children. When in doubt, please refer to the maximum weight capacity of your item in the description on our website.

Charging:

One of the best ways to prolong your charge and battery life is to make sure you are charging the battery for the right amount of time. You may not see an immediate difference if you leave the item charged for too long, but it will have long-term negative effects on your battery and your charger. Each type of product is different, so we've listed them here to help guide you. If you are ever in doubt, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at support@kingtoys.ca

Ride-On Cars:

Charging time: 8-12 hours

Maximum: 24 hours.

Electric Scooters, Hoverboards, 36v Go-Kart, or any Lithium Battery Products:

Charging time: 3-6 hours, depending on item.

Maximum: 12 hours

DO NOT use a booster to expedite charge times! While this may save you some time, this is extremely hazardous!

Inflatable Products:

When inflating your products, please pay close attention and follow instructions for PSI for the product. After inflating, please do not store or leave the item outside because it may be exposed and at risk of punctures. This includes Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Boats, and Spas.

After inflation, make sure all plugs are screwed on properly and securely - or else it will leak air and eventually deflate.

Bicycles:

If you are familiar with assembling bicycles, then you will be able to put them together. However, if you are unfamiliar, then we highly recommend seeking help from someone who is experienced. Bicycle parts can be very fragile, so it is best to be familiar with the parts and the assembly process.
